Anthony HAVELKA

ANTHONY HAVELKA (Croatia) graduated in cello in 2015 from the Academy of Arts in Split, under the tutelage of Mihovil Karuza. He has attended numerous seminars and masterclasses with distinguished musicians such as Maja Virant, Illia Laporev, Mihovil Karuza, Yevgeny Xaviereff, Manhattan String Quartet, and others. He received several awards in regional and international cello competitions, as well as chamber music competitions. In 2012, he performed as a soloist with the Rijeka Chamber Orchestra. Since 2015, he has been working as a cello professor at the Art School in Poreč, and since 2019, he has been teaching at the Music School in Karlovac.
