Bojana VUKOJEVIĆ
Painter

Bojana Vukojević (Zadar, 1979), professor of fine arts, graduated in 2007 from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka, specializing in painting. She has been working as a teacher of professional subjects at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zadar since 2009.

During her professional development, she was influenced by various artistic practices. She finished high school in Zadar (GŠ Blagoje Bersa), where she performed as a dancer in the first line-up of the Zadar Dance Ensemble. She was the creative director of the Drama and Dance Ensemble ByElla, and performed in several full-length plays at the Croatian National Theater in Zadar. She gained extensive experience in the field of visual arts as an artistic director of the project Arrival in Heritage, in collaboration with J. Zanki  and organized by the University of Zadar. She has presented her illustrations and artwork in one solo and several group exhibitions.

Through her work at school, but also through many art workshops and projects, she applies her rich experience in the field of art pedagogy, highlighting research in the field of illustration, art installation and land art. She believes that art can stimulate the development of imagination and reveal the unknown abilities of individuals, and thus significantly contribute to the healthy development of children and youth.
