DORA DRACLIN (Croatia) graduated in oboe in 2013 under the guidance of Branko Mihanović from the Music Academy in Zagreb, where she also took oboe lessons from Dario Golčić. During her studies, she won multiple awards at regional, national, and international competitions. She participated in numerous solo, chamber, and orchestral concerts, including projects like Ivan Grozni and Carmen realized by the three artistic academies, which received Rector's Awards. She performed as part of the Young Musicians in Matica hrvatska cycle, in the Očić Salon, at the Darko Lukić Forum, and with chamber ensembles at various cultural festivals across Croatia. During her studies, she received the University of Zagreb's Excellence Scholarship twice. After completing her studies, she continued her education at oboe seminars in Croatia and abroad, including recent ones like the International Oboe Academy in Udine, where she had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest oboists of today (Domenico Orlando, Alexei Ogrintchouk, Ramon Ortega Quero, Simone Sommerhalder), and the Saline Royale Academy in France under the guidance of Alexei Ogrintchouk. After finishing her studies, Draclin gained experience as an oboe teacher in several schools in Croatia (Omiš, Makarska, Zadar), as well as an orchestral musician in numerous Croatian orchestras (HNK Split, HNK Zagreb, Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, Komedija Theater, Croatian Army Symphonic Wind Orchestra, Zagreb Chamber Orchestra, Varaždin Chamber Orchestra). Currently, she works as an oboe teacher at the Pavle Markovac Music School.
