Josipa HENIZELMAN
Painter and filmmaker

JOSIPA HENIZELMAN (Croatia) is currently completing her studies in painting at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. Beyond painting, she expresses herself through graphics, photography, and film. She is one of the eight mentors guiding the Liberated Film workshops. Her first short film Novi život (2019) was screened at various locations across Croatia, while the film Mjesta koja ne postoje (2022) stands as her most significant work that got impressive 10 awards. In addition to these accomplishments, she has directed five opening sequences for the Croatian Short Film Review (Filmska runda, Osijek, 2020), and she actively participates in photography exhibitions. A recipient of the Dean's Award for artistic success and academic achievements, Josipa believes in experimenting with different mediums and channeling creativity through play. To her, unburdened play is the key to crafting wonders.
