ELENA ROCE (Pula, 1994) first graduated in organ performance under E. Kancelar, M.A., before continuing her studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. A year later, she also completed her secondary studies in solo singing under C. Pelčić, M.A.

She appears both as a solo organist and accompanist in various chamber ensembles, as well as a vocalist at festivals in Croatia and abroad. Alongside her concert activities, she is regularly engaged in liturgical music in the Netherlands (Josephkerk Haarlem, De Koepelkathedraal Haarlem, among others).

After completing her degree in Zagreb in 2019, she pursued a Master’s in Organ Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, studying with prof. Matthias Havinga, and graduated in May 2022. From autumn 2020 she additionally enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in voice at the Early Music Department, in the class of prof. Xenia Meijer, completing her studies in 2024.

In recent years she has broadened her interests to the field of organology, with a particular focus on the organ heritage of Istria and its links with traditional music.

In 2019, together with colleague Krešimir Klarić, she founded the Association for the Promotion and Preservation of Organ Heritage “Organum Histriae”, which organizes the international organ festival of the same name. She also serves as public relations manager for the concert cycle Pula Classical Winter.
