Božičević’s oeuvre encompasses five symphonic compositions, along with orchestral, chamber, choral, solo, and numerous electronic works. His artistic interests span a wide spectrum of genres—early and baroque, electronic, jazz, and world music—and focus on the creative intersections between them, always striving for a deeper stylistic synthesis.
His works have been performed across Europe, as well as in Australia and the United States. Recordings of his music have been produced for Serbian National Radio and Television, Swedish National Radio, and Croatian National Radio and Television. Particularly notable are awards for organ-related works: the AGO/ECS Publishing Award (2014, for Kyrie eleison), the AGO/Marilyn Mason Award (2016, for Moonpiper), the Premio Cristóbal Halffter (2016, for Summer Triptych), the Prix De Man (2021, for Willows Are Green, Flowers Are Crimson), and the European Organ Composition Competition (2022, for Organic Steelworks).
